ABOUT US
Irtysh Intercultural Space — a place that brings people together through languages, culture, and social projects.
Cultural Center Irtysh is a nonprofit foundation that has been developing educational, cultural, and social initiatives in Almaty, Kazakhstan, since 2007.
One of our key areas of activity is teaching Spanish and promoting the cultures of Spain and Latin America.
We help our students achieve their goals: gaining admission to international universities, building international careers, preparing for language proficiency exams, travelling, discovering new opportunities, and making friends around the world.
On October 1, 2025, Cultural Center Irtysh officially became an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Centre (Centro Acreditado por el Instituto Cervantes), making it the first and only centre in Kazakhstan to receive this international accreditation.
Our team consists of qualified teachers, including native Spanish speakers from Spain and Latin America, as well as experienced local educators.
Beyond language courses, we organise cultural events, educational gatherings, and social projects, creating opportunities for communication, collaboration, and intercultural dialogue.
We believe that languages open doors to new opportunities, culture brings people together, and collective initiatives help create positive change in society.
