Level system according to the international standard
The system of foreign language proficiency levels for foreigners, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
level
A1
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce themselves to others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know and things they have.
Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
level
A2
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
Can describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

B1
Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
Can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
Can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

B2
Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialisation.
Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

C1
Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer clauses and recognise implicit meaning.
Can express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

C2
Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read.
Can summarise information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.
Can express themselves spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations.

Spanish language teacher training course
Level: B2 and above.
For those planning to become a Spanish language teachers.
Dates: February - April 2025.
Class format: preferably offline or online with a good internet connection.
Price: 130,000 tenge (includes classes, review of practical assignments, consultations with the instructor and practice at the Irtysh Cultural Center).
Duration: three months.
Course content: in addition to attending classes and two 1-hour practices, each discipline includes an assignment for 2-4 hours. Students will also attend the classes of other teachers as observers, analyzing different teaching methods.
Intensive course on the Subjunctive (Subjuntivo)
Level: B1 and B2.
For those who want to learn to think like native speakers.
Dates: upon student request, with a minimum group size of 4 people.
Class format: preferably offline or online with a good internet connection.
Price: 40,000 tenge.
Duration: 2 classes of 2 hours per week, for three weeks.
Course content: most languages we know do not have a subjunctive mood. This course explores various instances of using this tense to convey the mindset of a native speaker.
business Spanish
Level: B2.
For those who want to work in Spanish-speaking countries or who need Spanish at a B2 level to apply to university.
Dates: upon student request, with a minimum group size of 4 people.
Class format: preferably offline or online with a good internet connection.
Price: 40 000 tenge.
Duration: 2 classes of 2 hours per day, for four months.
Course content:
- Course content according to CEFR standards for B2 level.
- Business Spanish.
- Preparation for DELE B2 exam.
DELE & SIELE exam preparation
Level: A1 - C2.
For those planning to take the DELE exam in the upcoming session.
Dates: two months before each session.
Class format: individual lessons offline or online with a good internet connection.
Price: 12,000 tenge for the first session, 11,000 tenge for the second session, 10,000 tenge for the third session.
Duration: 3 classes of 1 hour each.
Course content: by taking DELE model tests, students will be able to learn the structure of the exam and identify weaknesses, receiving materials to improve them.
Reading club
Level: A1 - A2.
For those who want to improve their Spanish using a book.
Dates: upon student request, with a minimum group size of 4 people.
Class format: preferably offline or online with a good internet connection.
Price: 20 000 tenge.
Duration: 4 sessions of 1 hour each for 1 month.
Course content: using a book as the main theme, students will work on various aspects of communication (intonation, reading, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, etc.) to achieve a deep understanding of the text.
Conversation club for beginners and advanced levels
Level: beginner A1-A2 and advanced B1-C2.
For those who want to improve their Spanish.
Dates: Fridays 19.00-20.30.
Class format: offline group classes.
Price: free.
Duration: throughout the year, once every two weeks.
Course content: the goal is to create a space for communication where topics of common interest are discussed using various formats (games, videos, songs, debates, etc.).

Official DELE & SIELE exams
Intercultural Space "Irtysh" is the FIRST DELE and SIELE language testing center in Kazakhstan.
DELE
DELEis an international exam that certifies Spanish language proficiency.

DELE Exam: School students November 22; Adults levels А1 to С2 November 23.
SIELE
SIELE is the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española which certifies electronically the command of the Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals.
